YOGA

We have started practicing yoga in Health class this week.  

We do some very basic moves and practice mindfulness.   

Students are not required to bring in a yoga mat but some students like to have their own mat.

SANS WALK - Sept. 8

SANS Walk - Saturday September 8, 2018

Please join us for our annual walk in memory of a loved one who lost their battle with depression or other mental health issues.  At SANS, we work to raise awareness by bringing programs that discuss suicide, depression and anxiety awareness and prevention to high schools and middle schools throughout Massachusetts and beyond.    

Thanks to funds raised and the support of Town Residents and  Administration, SANS  was also able to provide INTERFACE Referral Service to all Littleton residents. 

Please come individually or as a team, raise pledges if you can.  We cannot continue our services without your help.

We are looking for volunteers for 2 to 4-hour shifts

8th grade students are finishing the HIV/AIDS unit and will be watching the movie "She's Too Young" as we continue our conversations about STI's and relationships.

GRADE 8 - Term 3

The 8th grade students will begin learning about the following topics starting May 11th

HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention
ABSTINENCE will be continuously stressed
Dating/Relationships/Communication
Movie “She’s Too Young”

Human Sexuality Unit - Term 3

Health Education is an integral part of the educational experience here at Littleton Middle School.  The course provides cognitive information and behavioral skills necessary for students to deal with various life situations, choices and consequences. Within the next few weeks students will be presented information about the human body in an age appropriate manner. The material is presented in a balanced, factual way respecting each student.
